I like Luna's children's names. As the sort of names Luna would bestow, that is. Are they both boys?

And Bill and Fleur's children have names that seem like Fleur picked them all.

I thought Angeline was Fred's sort-of girlfriend. He died so she married the twin. But yay for calling their son Fred.

Harry and Ginny could come up with one name not belonging to a dead person at least. Luna's still alive.

Who is this Rolf guy? He'd better be pretty wonderful to be married to Luna.

Somebody have another son and call it Arthur, please.

I echo this sentiment, but more from the perspective of "Percy WASN'T so far into the closet he found Narnia?" than anything else.

Apparently not. But now you say that, it makes an awful lot of sense.

Neville/Luna would be awesome together. Unfortunately, JKR declared that not canon a while back, I believe.

According to a Neville/Luna site: When she was first asked about the possibility of Luna hooking up with Neville Longbottom several years ago, Rowling’s response was "Definitely not." But as time passed and she watched her characters mature, Rowling started to "feel a bit of a pull" between the unlikely pair.

Ultimately, Rowling left the question of their relationship open at the end of the book because doing otherwise "felt too neat".

Except she then posted this family tree. That's open, right? Do we really have to accept every word she says as canon?

Doctor Who's buffet-style canon is obviously rubbing off into my other fandoms, because I say "whatever". That's what fic is for, darn it.

Having been a Harry/Luna shipper for quite some time, I'm glad that at least Harry and Designated Girlfriend Without Any Real Personality (one of my few gripes with Book Seven) saw fit to name one of their children after her. Also, 'Lily Luna Potter' is the only one of those three names that isn't terrible.

Rolf is Newt Scamander's grandson. But I've been beaten to saying that, so I will wave my Neville/Luna flag instead. JKR first said it wasn't to be, then that there was a good possibility, and then that is was definitely not. Wish she'd make her mind up.

I'm kind of sad that Percy didn't marry Penelope. And that Draco didn't marry Pansy, too. But I was so pleased to see that Harry and Ginny named their daughter after Luna. That made me very, very happy.
