Just... another thing about Sixties companions being useless screamers. I had an argument with my dad about it, who's one of those 'Rose was the first good companion' guys.
They probably watched up to the first scream and turned it off... which still makes no sense, really. I guess some people just think a screamer is an weakling, no matter how much awesome they exude. Which is hell for companions like Polly and Dodo, of course.
It's a neverending circle of stupidity, fail and awesome apparently being negated by a tendency to scream. Sometimes, this fandom makes me want to hurt people.
