Oh, wasn't it fab? So many great lines, plus scariness (though I agree with you on the fangy bit, not as effective as the blank faces. Made them seem less like statues).
Presumably the Doctor had to leave Sally and Lawrence behind so he could meet them later? I wish we could have Sally as a companion though, she was great.
